Abuja — The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Wednesday confirmed the nomination of Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance, solidifying President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet appointments.
Oyedele, a renowned tax and fiscal policy expert, had appeared before the Senate Committee for screening, where he outlined his commitment to implementing fiscal reforms, boosting government revenue, ensuring realistic and sustainable budgeting, and strengthening Nigeria’s economic management framework.
